Creating a Resilience Plan for Canine Dysregulation

Does your dog become dysregulated in certain situations or under some circumstances?

Maybe it's happening daily or multiple times per week, and it's become disheartening and disrupting for them, you and the rest of your family.

Canine Dysregulation Syndrome is a common condition experienced by domesticated dogs that results in high levels of psychological and physiological arousal and produces unhealthy, unsafe and unproductive behaviour.

Families with dogs dealing with CDS might experience hyperactivity, restlessness, chewing or destruction, barking, lunging or threatening actions, fearfulness, biting and other types of expressions that manifest when the nervous system is stuck in a chronic state of fight or flight.

I specialize in canine dysregulation and work with families impacted by the adverse effects of this condition when experienced by their dogs.

My work focuses on building resilience through emotional regulation, building skills such as relaxation and patience and helping dogs integrate the sensory information from their environment so they can problem-solve and learn to cope with life stressors.

I also work with guardians and families to ensure their mental health needs are being met. Many individuals don't recognize or accept that the decline in their dog's mental health can negatively impact their well-being.

This online workshop takes you through creating a resilience plan for your dog by completing The Trigger Tree, Canine Edition workbook over two sessions, each running for 2-hours.

Each session allows for discussion, reflection, clarification and understanding of the deep, underlying issues that create canine dysregulation and exploration of ways to shift a dog's nervous system from a reactive state back into a responsive one.

Dates: July 20 and 27, 2023
Time: 6:00-8:00 pm
Cost: $150

Your registration includes four hours of live instruction, discussion and guidance and the 25-page Trigger Tree, Canine Edition workbook.

Supporting a dog with a dysregulated nervous system takes more than behavioural strategies. A complete transformation of lifestyle and routine is often required to guide them back into a responsive, regulated state.

The past understanding of the needs of dogs has evolved, yet many behaviour professionals have not expanded their practice to include this new information. If you want to help your dog cope better with life stressors and have less dysregulation, this online workshop is for you.

Register today and transform the way you support your dog's mental health.
