Confident Puppy (ages 5 - 10 months)

The Confident Puppy Course is a wonderful introduction to partnership training for you and your puppy!

All of my courses are based on the ethical treatment of animals and do not include any kinds of coercion, force, fear, intimidation, pain or physical manipulation that has been shown to be detrimental to a dog's well-being.

I teach evidence-based behaviour and learning techniques as well as the theoretical aspects of cognitive based training, emotional intelligence and hardwiring happiness and joy through positive experience.

This program is $300 and the registration fee includes a private consultation that must be booked prior to the class start date, access to my online Inner Circle Community for support between classes and 4 weeks of in-class instruction.

The focus of the Confident Canine Course is to offer sensory exploration, build confidence, introduce your puppy to learning fundamental training concepts such as recall and enhance their social skills through games, movement, play and rewards.

You will learn about the importance of emotional regulation, how to provide healthy ongoing socialization for your adolescent puppy, how to read their body language, how to effectively teach your puppy anything through games and play, prevention of problems through providing enrichment and how to influence desired behaviour responses through food and functional rewards.

At the end of the program you'll have the skills to continue to build on loose leash walking, play your way to a reliable recall, how to relax in place and how to interact with your dog in a way that sets them up for success in life.

Classes will be held outdoors at Basford Drive Field (Near Greely Cres) in Columbia Park and are weather dependant. In the event of unfavourable weather conditions, our class will be moved to Zoom.
